The start of something new
Here at Pongoose, we have been overwhelmed by the support and interest we have received in the first few weeks of launch. We can’t thank people enough. We have been humbled by unexpected support from people all over the place who we’ve never met before, people who have gone out of their way to help us and spread the word. What a great climbing community we have, all across the world. We are a lucky, lucky people!
The climbing world is a welcoming place, full of interesting and unique individuals that live life to the full. You can’t help feeling inspired. As completely normal people embarking on a new business and entering the climbing world as a grass-roots start-up, we were nervous to see how we’d be received. After all, Pongoose certainly isn’t a multi-million dollar company that can afford to sponsor pro climbers and athletes or send out boxes of free products for advertising on social media. However, so far, we are feeling the love and can’t thank the digital army enough for sharing, supporting and helping to promote us, a lot of the time simply out of the goodness of their hearts.
Over the coming months, we will be out and about at various climbing walls doing demos around the UK, so keep an eye out for details of these dates so you can pop along, say hi, try out the Pongoose Climber 700 and see just how easy it is to retrieve a quickdraw!
