The Pongoose Climber 550+ is the only clipstick from the range that is compatible with the Pongoose Extender 550+. They are sold together here as a single product, coupled together securely with two Pongoose silicone coupling bands. When the clipstick and extender are bought together with the bands you save £7. 

To join the extension to the clipstick, you just slide off the handle of the clipstick and screw in the extension until tight. If you like you can then slide the handle onto the end of the extension for more control.

This set-up is ideal for any serious climber who's projecting or just climbers going to some remote, off the beaten track crags. The shorter length allows you stow it away in a smaller backpack. Alternatively you can use the coupling bands to secure the sticks to the side of your rucksack.
